Ellijay is often referred to as the Gem of the north Georgia Mountains. Ellijay is well known for being the Apple Capital of Georgia, and the Mountain Biking Capital. Ellijay is renowned for their Apple Festival held every mid-October. Ellijay is a wonderful place to enjoy festivities and make a memory.

Talking Rock, GA
With a population of only 45, Talking Rock earns the title as the third smallest town in the State of Georgia. Talking Rock is nestled in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains between Ellijay and Jasper. This is the perfect place to relax and forget about any troubles.
Enjoy a day canoeing on Big Canoe, or lose track of time wakeboarding on Carters Lake. Throw in rafting, kayaking, and tubing close by and it’s a water enthusiast’s dream come true.
Some of the best courses in Georgia are located minutes from the property. The north Georgia Mountains create the perfect back drop for a day on the links, so grab the clubs and take in a round of the awe-inspiring golf on one of the several challenging courses in the area.
Walk out your front door from the property for a gorgeous afternoon hike along a ridge line with breathtaking 50 mile views. For the more devoted hiker or biker the Appalachian Trail is minutes from the property, along with other beautiful trails in Jasper, Big Canoe, Ellijay, and Talking Rock. No matter if you are looking for a short afternoon walk to enjoy nature, or a strenuous hike to test your fitness level, it’s right around the corner.
